Issues List

The main view for browsing, filtering, and managing all your issues.

The List View

When you open the Tasks & Issues app, you'll see all your issues in a data table with the following columns:

Status Indicators

Each issue displays a colored dot next to its ID:

BlueIn progress
RedOverdue (past due date and not complete)
GrayNot yet started

Overdue Items

Issues with past due dates are highlighted in red in the Due Date column, making it easy to identify items that need immediate attention.

Filtering Your Issues

Use the filter buttons at the top of the page to narrow down your view.

Available Filters

FilterDescription
StatusFilter by workflow status (To Do, In Progress, Done, etc.)
Status CategoryFilter by high-level category (Not Started, In Progress, Complete, Cancelled)
TagsFilter by assigned tags
TypeFilter by issue type (Task, Risk, Decision, Assumption, and any enabled types)
PriorityFilter by priority level (Low, Medium, High)
AssigneeFilter by team member, team, or organization
AccessFilter by visibility (Private, Published)
MilestoneFilter by linked milestone steps
Due DateFilter by date range

Using Filters

  1. Click any filter button to open the filter dropdown
  2. Select one or more values to filter by
  3. The table updates instantly to show matching issues
  4. Active filters show a count badge indicating selected values
  5. Click Reset to clear all filters

Search

Use the search box to find issues by title or description. Search results update as you type with a brief delay for performance.

Creating Issues

Quick Create

  1. Click the + Create button in the toolbar
  2. Select the issue type (Task, Risk, Decision, Assumption, or any enabled type)
  3. Enter the required fields:
    • Title - A clear, descriptive name
    • Status - Initial workflow status
  4. Optionally fill in additional fields:
    • Description
    • Priority
    • Assignee
    • Due Date
    • Tags
    • Custom fields (if configured)
  5. Click Create to save the issue

Issue Visibility

When creating an issue, you can set its visibility:

  • Private - Only you and explicitly shared members can see it
  • Published - Shared with your team based on access permissions

Inline Editing

Most fields can be edited directly from the list view without opening the detail view:

Editable Fields

  • Status - Click to open dropdown and select new status
  • Priority - Click to cycle through Low, Medium, High
  • Due Date - Click to open date picker
  • Assignee - Click to search and select team member

Changes save automatically and sync in real-time with your team.

Bulk Operations

Select multiple issues to perform batch updates.

Selecting Issues

  • Click the checkbox next to individual issues
  • Click the header checkbox to select all visible issues

Available Bulk Actions

With issues selected, open the Modify dropdown to:

  • Set Status (changes apply to all selected)
  • Set Assignee
  • Set Priority
  • Set Due Date
  • Add Tag
  • Archive
  • Delete

View Options

Customize how issues are displayed using the View button.

List and Board Views

At the top of the View menu you can switch between two view modes:

  • List - The default data-table view described above.
  • Board - A Kanban board that arranges issues into columns.

When Board is selected, a Group By selector appears to control how cards are organized into columns:

  • Status - One column per workflow status
  • Assignee - One column per team member
  • Week Due - Columns grouped by the week an issue is due
  • Tags - Columns grouped by tag

Display Settings

  • Closed Issues - Include completed items
  • Archived Issues - Include archived issues
  • Sub Issues - Include sub-issues in the list

Column Visibility

Under Columns, toggle which columns appear in the table:

  • ID, Type, Title, Status, Due Date, Priority, Assignee, Access, Related Steps

Resetting the View

Click Reset at the bottom of the View menu to restore the space default view settings.

Saved Views

Saved Views let you capture a combination of filters, columns, and view settings and return to it later. They appear at the top of the View menu under Saved Views.

Working with Saved Views

  • Default - The starting view. When you change filters or columns, a blue dot indicates the view has unsaved changes.
  • Save as New View... - Save the current filter/column configuration under a new name.
  • Save View - Update a saved view with your current changes.
  • Rename - Rename a saved view.
  • Delete - Remove a saved view.
  • Load a saved view at any time by clicking its name.

Sharing and Pinning

Use the view's menu to:

  • Share… - Share the view with your team.
  • Pin → For me - Pin the view to your own sidebar.
  • Pin → For everyone - Pin the view to the sidebar for all members (requires edit access).
